Following the theory developed in mash up, that architecture can be growing from another architecture, the form it is growing into is similar to its host, while it can be a plant that grows deep into, it is also a virus-like element that colonize the host's land and replace or destroys its inside. In this case, the square house is the host, the architecture i have designed becomes the virus, which replace parts of the original form, and make use of what is left after, spreading and extending in a particular geometry, eventually replacing the host.

Geometry
I have used nearly no curved lines in the architectural design, i want to bring out a bold, hard, sharp, strong and harsh emotion to the design, as the Dean of the architectural school, this is something that i would like the students to keep inside, be bold and expressive, and be real.

Additional images- Interior captures
A-Student Meeting room and Lounge
This active space is designed openly where students can access to various levels and rooms, the thermal mass wall in the middle helps cooling during summer and heating in winter after sun exposure, the spiral stairs connects to the library.
Below is on the other side of the meeting room, there are four individual study/meeting rooms (each can contain 8-10 person) that provides more privacy.
At the two sides there are spaces for relaxing and resting.
B-Studio/Classrooms & Lab &Workshop
This biggest room contains 5 individual studio/classrooms, each can contain 15-20 students, since they require less interaction between classes, a barrier is set in between, the orientation of the room prevents strong morning sunlight, solar gain from the sun is stored in the stone wall.
This is the lab, the big mass in-front blocks strong sunlight, at the same time provides enough daylight for usage. Work shop is located at the back of classrooms. sound insulation is required for workshop walls.
This is the back of the square house, the geometrical corridor provide connecting between square house and the uni gym,it connects directly from the student meeting room where easy access is provided towards different levels.
C-Lecture Theater
Below is the lecture theater located on the second, can be accessed from the student meeting room and the Tryee building.
The interior of the lecture room.
D-Library Room
Below is the library located on the third floor, here there is access to the floating elevator, as well as the gallery space.
Little Garden in the corner of the library, for students to relax and for activities.
Below is an exit of the library towards the gallery.
E- Gallery space
Gallery space from the library exit view.
I try to keep the gallery space vivd and therefore add on the textures, adds some color to my design, this is an irregular shaped space.
Interior of the library, cut outs following the texture gives distinct lighting to the room.
F-Offices
Open, modern offices, getting rid of cubes which is depressing, openly structured room brings more sense of gathering, freshness and helps better communication.
Spiral Stairs connects to the 4th floor which
is the meeting room for stuff and research, the office has a wide open view occupied with solar control facades that activates when sensing too much sunlight.
on the left there is a resting room for stuff, pathway on the left bottom corner directs to the floating elevator, therefore easy access to the outside.
G- Meeting room for stuff & Research for stuff
This is a more private room for academic stuff mainly. Sound insulation wall can be used to separate the research and the meeting room.
View from the outside, the louvers provide flexible control to the sunlight.
Bridge- walkway
geometrical cut outs and use of various textures, letting the light portrays the geometry on the ground.
long bridge connecting Tyree building.
